How To Print T-Shirts

For anyone interested in printing T-Shirts in Perth, the process is:

• Get orders for shirts in sizes S, M, L, and XL (nothing larger than XL).
• Design the TShirt (front and back).
• Print seperations or make a Mac disk with a Freehand document on it, note the colours (preferably with panatone numbers).
• Take the tally of T-Shirt sizes to Aussie Gold. T-Shirts cost about $7 each.
• Take the T-Shirts and the printed seperations or disk to Red Hot Designs.
• Pick up the T-Shirts three to ten working days later.

Printing costs roughly $40/side + roughly $2.50/shirt. Prices vary with sides and numbers of colours. (total printing cost for a run of 35 was $123.25).

I have no affiliation with either of these companies, but I've repeated this process half a dozen times and it's always worked well.

Note that Aussie Gold are apparently joining forces with Thumbprint so they now ooffer printing and embroidering. So you could probably just go direct to Aussie Gold - but I've always had good results with Red Hot Designs.
